Following the hugely successful exhibition ‘Back to the Cave – Sculpture Goes Underground’ in 2022, Gallery Pangolin and Clearwell Caves are thrilled to announce that a second ‘Back to the Cave’ exhibition will be happening in the Spring of 2025! The caves, a unique and ancient site, will once again be the extraordinary location to showcase a rich and diverse assembly of Modern and contemporary sculpture.

The first ‘Back to the Cave’ sculpture exhibition referenced the origins of Art and the role of caves as a primal shelter for humans and animals alike. The key focus for this second venture will be colour, inspired by the artists’ pigments of yellow, brown, red and purple ochres which are still mined at Clearwell today.
