Robert Aberdein
Robert Aberdein was born in 1963 and studied at Norwich School of Art.
A passionate birdwatcher, Aberdein has always sculpted the avian form.
His sculptures have evolved from realistic depictions of individual species to the distilled forms of his more recent work, simplified and tactile shapes which capture the essence of his subject.
Working in fired ceramic, bronze and silver, Aberdein exhibits widely and his work is held in private collections throughout the UK.
